July 2010--The Research and Development team of Ed Miniat, Inc. was recognized as key innovators in the cooked meat realm when Bill Christenson, Director of Technical Services at Miniat, was asked to speak on a forum board at the 2010 IFT Food Expo in Chicago, IL. The forum topic was “Creative Collaboration in Sodium Reduction for Proteins.”
May 2010--On May 20, 2010, Miniat hosted Stephen Gerike of the National Pork Board for a Pork 101 short course and product fabrication.
