Ed Miniat Helps with Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

Mobile Feeding Service Ramps Up in Houston and Across Southeast Texas Being a good neighbor means jumping in and helping out when there’s a need. And Miniat has been happy to step up to the plate and donate meat when natural disasters leave our local or national neighbors in need. Hurricane Harvey is no exception.

Miniat’s culinary, customer service, and supply chain teams have been busy coordinating a donation of sous vide-cooked steak, chorizo, and beef items to the northwest Houston Salvation Army to help with relief efforts.

In response to Hurricane Harvey, The Salvation Army has provided nearly 281,000 meals through their 95 mobile feeding units and field kitchen. Miniat’s contribution will provide meat for over 1,500 additional meals.

“As a company who’s passionate about food and serving our communities, Ed Miniat is proud to partner with The Salvation Army to make an impact in the lives of those most affected by Harvey,” said Liz Sartain, Miniat's Brand Awareness Manager.
